ANNA, Ill. -- Don F. McCommons, 80, of Anna, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 1995, at Jackson County Nursing Home in Murphysboro.

He was born June 2, 1914, in Dongola, son of Jessie and Evelyn Johnson McCommons. He married the former Alline Robertson Coffman.

McCommons was retired from Bunny Bread. He was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Janet McCommons of Nashville, Tenn.; a son, Paul Coffman of Elgin; a brother, John McCommons of Anna, and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. today, and until service time Sunday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Steve Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
