Dolores Agnes Burns, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at Heartland Care Rehab Center.
She was born May 21,1932, in St. Louis, daughter of Walter and Catherine Egan LaTurno. She and Charles A. Burns were married Aug. 17, 1957, in St. Louis. He died Oct. 8, 1992.
Dolores moved to Cape Girardeau in 1970 from St. Louis. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
Survivors include two sons, William Burns and John Burns of Cape Girardeau; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Patricia and Brian Beal of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Cathy and James Porter of Forest, Va., Susan and Lee Phillips of Perryville, Mo., Jeanne and Tim Brown of Moscow Mills, Mo., and Mary Burns of Wentzville, Mo.
Also surviving is a sister, Marilyn Cooper of St. Louis; a brother, Brian LaTurno of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren, Sarah, Daniel, Matthew, Hannah, Gabriel and Nathaniel Porter; Racheal and Joshua Beal; Kyrie Ghannoum; Brittany Brown; Zachary Moyers; and Leah Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Alexandria Brown; a brother; and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Rev. Gefford Lamprea will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
