Funeral for Dolly Ruth Snyder of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Revs. Howard Anderson and Wes Rider will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery at Egypt Mills, Mo.
Friends may call at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Snyder, 87, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 11, 1913, in Piggott, Ark., daughter of Howard and Lucinda Barr Kutchin. She was married to Austin Vines, Charley James, and Edgar Grant Snyder, all of whom preceded her in death.
Snyder had been a cook at Nickerson Farms, St. Vincent's Seminary, and was manager of Cape Girardeau County Juvenile Detention Office. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Bobbie Joe Vines and Charles James of Cape Girardeau, James Vines of St. Charles, Mo., Buddy James of Eudora, Kan., Jesse James of Mt. Pleasant, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
