Dixie Rowe, 85, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, at the Chateau Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 10, 1930, in Zalma, Missouri, to the late Glen and Ruby (Slinkard) Thomas.
Dixie owned and operated Rowe Ford Sales in Malden, Missouri, alongside her husband, Webster Rowe.
She was also a Worthy Grand Matron with the O.E.S., Carnation Chapter 141.
Survivors include two daughters, Robin (Lyle) Davis and Melanie Rowe (special friend Jack Smith), all of Cape Girardeau; sister, Joy (Bill) Ward of Advance, Missouri; grandchildren, Webster Rowe (Becki) Arends of Jackson and Lance (Tara) LaFont of Cape Girardeau; four great-grandchildren, Kaleb Rowe and Noah Makai Arends, Brie Rylee and Wesley Claire LaFont; close friend, Larward Clark; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Webster Rowe.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bollinger County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
