Dixie L. Rodgers, 58, of Jackson, formerly of Alexander County, Ill., passed away at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Dixie was born Aug. 22, 1954, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Robert "Bob" Dunn and Mildred Shirley Poston Dunn.
Dixie attended the Alexander Freewill Baptist Church in rural Thebes, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include two daughters, Nikki Neel of Cape Girardeau and Heather Coleman of Jackson; a son, Michael Coleman of Cape Girardeau; her mother, Mildred Shirley Knupp of Hawthorne, Fla.; three brothers, Billy Dunn of Farmington, Mo., Jimmy Dunn of Percy, Ill., and Tim Dunn of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Tammy Douglas of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.
Funeral services will be at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, with the Rev. Earnest Brown officiating. Cremation services will be after the funeral services.
