DINA SCHLOSS

PERRYVILLE -- Dina W. Schloss, 82, of Perryville died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 7, 1915, in Perry County, daughter of Louis H. and Anna T. Meyer. She and Eldred L. Schloss were married May 14, 1940, at Apple Creek. He died April 21, 1987.

Schloss had worked in the fitting room at International Shoe Co. She and her husband also owned and operated Schloss Package Liquor Store 13 years.

She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and Perry County Senior Citizens.

Survivors include a daughter, Jo Ann Bierk of Perryville; two sons, Richard and Wayne Schloss of St. Louis; two brothers, Clemens Meyer of Perryville, Thomas Meyer of St. Louis; three sisters, Flora Winschel and Edna Buchheit of Perryville, Alma Berkbigler of St. Louis; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and three brothers.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake and sodality service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
