TAMMS, Ill. -- Dimple Foltz, 84, of Tamms passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
Dimple was born Jan. 8, 1940, in Olive Branch, Illinois, to Hal and Jessie Smiley Newton. She married Virgil Eugene Foltz on June 7, 1963. He preceded her in death May 15, 2013.
Dimple was a well-known vegetable farmer; she made it a family project.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Foltz; grandchildren, Kenneth Foltz Jr., Kelly Foltz, Michael Foltz and Caleb Foltz; and one great-grandson, Ryder Whitney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 5, at McCrite Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating.
