PATTON -- Diana Karnes, 43, of Columbia, S.C., died Friday, Sept. 2, 1994, in Columbia.

She was born Oct. 30, 1950, in St. Louis, daughter of William and Velda Heitman Pogue. She and Andrew L. Karnes were married Aug. 8, 1970.

Karnes was employed by the Civil Service in Columbia.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, William and Daniel Karnes of Columbia; three sisters, Debrah Edwards and Joyce Pogue of St. Louis, Susan Johnson of St. Charles, and maternal grandmother, Mattie Heitman of Patton.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. W.D. Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Reagan Chapel Cemetery near Patton.
