SIKESTON -- Dequashia Monae Turner, 4, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at her home following an extended illness.

She was born Sept. 23, 1994, in St. Louis, daughter of Dena Johnson and Antonio Turner of Sikeston.

She was a student at Early Childhood for two years and also attended Kenny Rogers Center for over three years for therapy.

She is survived by her parents; a brother, Dequa Turner; a sister, Dequala Turner; grandparents, Kathy Johnson of Memphis, Tenn., Rosa Peet of the state of Indiana, and Angela and Larry White of Sikeston; a great-grandmother, Bobbie Henry of Memphis; and her step-father, Fred Washington of Sikeston.

Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston with Larry White officiating. There will be no visitation.

Burial will be in the Sunest of Memories Cemetery.

Williams-Farr & Purnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
