Denzil Bollinger, 87, died Friday, May 25, 2007, at Reading Manor in Los Angeles.
He was born July 29, 1919, at Scopus, Mo., son of Robert and Cora Mae Mayfield Bollinger.
Bollinger was a truck driver 35 years.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; four daughters, Linda Asher of Los Angeles, Karen Altonaga of Camarillo, Calif., Janet and Shirley Bollinger of Inglewood, Calif.; two brothers, Larry Bollinger of Jackson, Jerry Bollinger of Onondaga, Mich.; two grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral Mass was held May 31 at Holy Cross Mortuary Chapel in Culver City, Calif., with the Rev. Kevin Rettig officiating. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
