Dennis Milton Sr., 85, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1994, at his home.
He was born April 10, 1909, in West Memphis, Ark., son of Joseph and Sylvia Grice Milton. He and Maple Green were married Sept. 15, 1949.
Milton was formerly of Sikeston, and was a member of Travelers Rest Baptist Church there.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Aaron and Simon Cheatham of Memphis, Tenn., Russell Milton of Union City, Tenn., Dennis Milton Jr. of Sikeston, Eugene Coaker of Columbia; a daughter, Mary Morris of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Annie Haywood of Detroit, Mich.; 41 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Haywood City. The Rev. Johnny Thomas will officiate, with burial in Haywood City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church after 1 p.m. Sunday.
