PATTON -- Funeral service for Dennis K. McClanahan of St. Charles will be held at 1 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Donnie Cook will officiate, with burial in Cook Cemetery at Scopus.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m.

McClanahan, 84, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1993, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.

He was born Nov. 8, 1908, in Oklahoma, son of William P. and Beatrix Sessums McClanahan. He married the former Gladys Peachee, who died in 1973.

McClanahan moved to this area in 1968 from Cottage Hills, Ill. He was a retired auto mechanic.

Survivors include a son, Teddy McClanahan of St. Charles; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and a grandchild.
