SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Dennis James Butler of Gene Autry, Okla., will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Pentecostal Church here. The Revs. Guy and Jim Roam will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Butler, 37 years old, died Saturday, April 20, 1991, at Oklahoma Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City.

He was born Jan. 8, 1954, at Sikeston, son of the Rev. Billie and Velma Louise Sanders Butler.

Butler had lived in Oklahoma seven years. He was a respiratory therapist at Memorial Hospital of Southern Oklahoma, and owned and operated Hilltop Arabian Farms. He was a member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Ardmore, Okla.

Survivors include his parents of Sikeston; a brother, David Butler of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Donna and Darla Butler of St. Louis; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Phillips of Wapella, Ill., and his fiancee, Barbara Kern of Santa Paula, Calif.
