SIKESTON, Mo. -- Dennis Michael Steven "Dee" Carlisle, 53, of Sikeston died Thursday, May 3, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 27, 1947, in Cairo, Ill., son of Martin and Pearl Hargan Carlisle. He and Myrna Phillips were married Aug. 6, 1966.
Carlisle was a 1965 graduate of Charleston High School in Charleston, Mo.
He had worked at Coca-Cola Co., Lewis Bakery, Reliable Freight, was owner/manager of Next Day Freight, owned the Bottle Shop, and then operated a pawn shop in Charleston until becoming ill in 1998.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lora Burns and Cheri Reese of Sikeston; three brothers, Joseph Carlisle of Leopold, Mo., James Carlisle of Sikeston, Mark Carlisle of Wappapello, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
There is no visitation.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
