Denise Keltie, 54, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at her home.
She was born Sunday, July 10, 1960, in Robertson County, Tennessee, and was the daughter of the late Jesse and Marcia Hayes Bryant.
She and Jon D. Keltie were married Friday, June 17, 1977, at Clarksville, Tennessee.
Denise attended Jackson Gospel Chapel. She enjoyed many crafts, including sewing; collecting tea cups; and yard sales. Denise was a loving wife, mother and grandma.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jon D. Keltie of Cape Girardeau; son Jon Jesse (Brandy) Keltie of Tamms, Illinois; daughter Kimberly Jean (Sam) Penny of Jackson; and grandchildren Olivia Jean Penny and Taylor Zane Webb.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Lowell Bryant and Teddy Hayes; and sister Starlett Jones.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, with Eric Michelsen and Randy McWilson officiating.
