DENA B. LAXSON

DEXTER -- Funeral service for Dena Bell Laxson will be held at 10 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Harold Gass will officiate, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Laxson, 95, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 1994, at Sells Rest Home in Matthews.

She was born Sept. 30, 1899, in White County, Ill., daughter of Henry Edward and Mary Hester Willis Happe. She married Rube Chamberlain in 1917, who preceded her in death in 1951. She later married Bill Laxson, who died in 1971.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
