MARBLE HILL -- Delphia M. Rhodes, 81, of Marble Hill, died Friday, March 22, 1996, at Bond Nursing Care Center.
She was born Aug. 7, 1914, in Bollinger County, daughter of John and Lula Ridings Patton. She and Silas L. Rhodes were married Dec. 31, 1928. He died Oct. 9, 1979.
The Rhodes operated Rhodes Grocery on Highway 51 north of Marble Hill many years. She was a member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Buford Rhodes of Marble Hill; two sisters, Stella Filer of Jefferson City, Norma Devenport of Marble Hill; three grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Baker Funeral Home from 4:30-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hurricane Church, with the Rev. Floyd Grindstaff officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
