DEXTER -- Deloris Reynolds, 90, of St. Charles County died Thursday, June 12, 1997, at St. Peters Manor in St. Peters.
She was born Dec. 6, 1906, at Essex, daughter of Oscar and Stella Eddington Maddox. She and the Rev. Joe Arthur Reynolds were married Nov. 25, 1922. He died May 29, 1969.
Reynolds lived at Dexter and Broseley many years, moving to St. Charles County in 1981.
Survivors include three sons, Sam Reynolds of Wappapello, Jim Reynolds of Sutter, Calif., Gale Reynolds of Colusa, Calif.; two daughters, Louise Whitehead of Flint, Mich., Marcella Hite of St. Charles; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Carl Brandt and Ronald McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
