JENNINGS, Mo. — Delores Ann Williams, 52, of Jennings died Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Christian Hospital Northwest in Jennings.
She was born Dec. 16, 1956, in Advance, Mo., to the union of the late Wince and Ossie Lee Braxton Williams.
Williams was a retired human resource assistant for the U.S. government in St. Louis. She confessed to Christ at an early age.
Survivors include her puppy, Pepper Williams; five brothers, Wince and Robert (Jerlean) Williams of St. Louis, James (Linda) and Clarence Williams of Haywood City, Mo., John (Gina) Williams of Sikeston, Mo.; an aunt, Rosie Braxton of Detroit; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; oldest brother, Willie Braxton; a sister, Mary Jo Williams; and her dog, Powder Williams.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to service time at 2 Saturday at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston. Burial will be in New Morning Star Cemetery in Haywood City.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
