DELORES KERSEY

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Delores Jean Kersey, 64, of Sikeston died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born March 1, 1936, at Bell City, Mo., daughter of Gilbert and Odena Brewer Clary. She and Richard Kersey were married May 16, 1959, in Sikeston.

Kersey had lived most of her life in Sikeston. She attended Cline's Island General Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; and a son, Jeremy Michael Kersey of Morehouse, Mo.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Blanchard Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. on Monday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Aquilla, Mo.
