Delores Golightly, 70, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born April 19, 1933, in Marble Hill, Mo., daughter of John "Burlen" and Maggie Gertrude Ramsey Barks. She and Harold Clifton "Hal" Golightly were married Aug. 18, 1951, in Marble Hill.
She was a 1951 graduate of Woodland High School and moved to Jackson in 1966. From 1971 to 1985, she and her husband owned and operated the Golightly Greenhouse in Fruitland. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church near Pocahontas.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gary and David Golightly of Jackson; two daughters, Brenda Reynolds and Barbara Ebert of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Lowell Barks of Piggott, Ark.; a sister, Naomi McClard of Jackson; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery.
