SCOTT CITY -- Delores S. Eifert, 84, daughter of the late Clyde Keesee and Essie Mullinax Keesee was born on June 6, 1938, in Fornfelt, Missouri, and departed her life on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
On Dec. 21, 1958, she was united in marriage to Charles Leon Eifert in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2001.
She was a former employee of Florsheim Shoe Company and homemaker. Delores was a member of the Eisleben Lutheran Church and Lutheran Ladies Aid and a former resident of Jackson.
Survivors include one son, David Eifert of Jackson; two daughters, Tambra Eifert of Topeka, Kansas and Lori (Tim) Martin of Jackson; two grandsons, Scott Martin and Brian Martin, both of Jackson; one sister, Norma Corbin of Cahokia, Illinois.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Virginia Knight, June Wunderlich, Mirian Roth, Ruth Landreth and a brother, Winfred Keesee.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral services will then be conducted at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Boettcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Eisleben Lutheran Cemetery in Scott City.
