CHARLESTON -- Delores Blanchard, 51, of St. Louis died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born March 10, 1949, in Charleston, daughter of David and Alfreda Scott Rodgers Sr. She married James Blanchard.
Blanchard was a member of Ecclesia of Christ First Assembly Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Cortez Blanchard of St. Louis; her mother of Charleston; four sisters, Maxine Hill of St. Louis, Rozena Jones, Margaret Jefferson and Annie Hamilton of Charleston; four brothers, Marshall Rodgers of Evanston, Ill., D.L. "David" Rodgers of Chicago, Frank Ingram and Gene Rodgers of Charleston.
Friends may call at Wade Funeral Home in St. Louis from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ecclesia Church in St. Louis, with the Rev. Ellie Collier officiating.
Friends may also call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston from 9-10:30 a.m. Friday.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Oak Grove Cemetery.
