BERNIE -- Delmer Lee Becker, 76, of Bernie died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.
He was born Jan. 15, 1924, at Senath, son of Ora Fredrick and Bertha Eliza Jane Craft Becker. He and Syble Louise Malugen were married June 8, 1946, in Piggott, Ark. She died March 30, 1993.
Becker had been a truck driver with Kaiser Steel Corp. in Eagle Mountain, Calif. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include four sons, Lynn Becker of Bernie, Danny and Fredrick Becker of Sumner, Wash., Charles Becker of Elko, Nev.; a daughter, Alma Gradick of Elko; a brother, Artrue Becker of Sikeston; three sisters, Aline Bolin of Wappapello, Sue Hulse of Port Angeles, Wash., Vera Lamb of Sikeston; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. O.H. Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery.
