DEXTER -- Funeral for Dellie Ann Murphy will be held at 1 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery. Murphy, 93, died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at Dexter Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 21, 1907, near Dexter, daughter of J.R. and Martha Haney Boone. She and George Redden Murphy were married March 15, 1923, in Bloomfield. He died Oct. 24, 1982...

Murphy, 93, died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 21, 1907, near Dexter, daughter of J.R. and Martha Haney Boone. She and George Redden Murphy were married March 15, 1923, in Bloomfield. He died Oct. 24, 1982.

Murphy was a member of Vinson General Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Bob Murphy of Jefferson City, Noel "Butch" Murphy of Bernie, Don Murphy of Berwyn, Ill.; four daughters, Pauline Kifer and Wanda Hughes of Bernie, Joyce Dunn of St. Charles, Judy Thrower of Cape Girardeau; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, two daughters, six brothers, a sister and three grandchildren.
