OAK RIDGE -- Funeral service for Dellia L. Mangels of Oak Ridge will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The Revs. Janet Hopkins and Lloyd Bollinger will officiate. Burial will be in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery at Old Appleton.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Mangels, 88, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 18, 1908, on the family farm north of Oak Ridge, daughter of Charles and Emma Grebe Ruesler. She and Oscar H. Mangels were married Jan. 27, 1935. He died Feb. 26, 1993.
Mangels lived on the family farm all her life. She worked at Sewing's Restaurant in Old Appleton 14 years. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church at Old Appleton, and a former member of Goshen Extension Club at Oak Ridge.
Survivors include a son, Charles Mangels of Oak Ridge; a brother, Harry Ruesler of Cape Girardeau; three grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
