ANNA, Ill. -- Della Sharp, 96, of Anna died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at City Care Nursing Home in Anna.
She was born April 9, 1904, in Elco, Ill., daughter of Thomas and Lura Thompson Brimm. She married Rando Sharp, who preceded her in death.
Sharp was a member of Elco Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Paul Sharp of Lick Creek, Ill., Jack Sharp of Jonesboro, Ill., Joe Sharp of Cobden, Ill.; a daughter, Emma Whitson of Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Flossie McGinness of Cairo, Ill., Martha Jordan of Anna; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, a son, and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola, Ill.
