JACKSON -- Della Schwab, 79, of Jackson died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1992, at her home.
She was born March 30, 1913, at Tilsit, the daugter of Henry and Anna Siebert Lange. On May 7, 1933, she married Alvin Schwab, who preceded her in death Sept. 22, 1989.
She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tilsit and was a member of Trinity Lutheran in Cape Girardeau for 38 years. She lived in Jackson most of her life, where she worked at the former Dorsa Garment Factory. She also worked at the Lowenbaum Garment Factory in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two sons, Leon Schwab of Jackson and Jerry R. Schwab of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Dorothy Pensel of Jackson; a brother, Clarence Lange of Route 4, Jackson; two sisters, Nora Clark of Ste. Genevieve and Wilma Schlimpert of Route 4, Jackson; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Friend may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, where funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. David Dissen will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
