Della D. Lukow, 63, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Sunday, Feb. 15, 1953, in Cape Girardeau to Harry Williams and Mildred Norris Watson.
Della was a 1971 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School.
In 1972, she married the love of her life, Gary Lukow, in Cape Girardeau.
She worked at A&W Root Beer and Wendy's and also stocked vending machines at Procter & Gamble.
Della was a member of Maple United Methodist Church.
She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Della was a sweet and gentle woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Gary Lukow; a son, John B. Lukow; and a daughter, Brandy Trickey, all of Cape Girardeau; her stepmother, Iona Williams of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Gage and Gretta Shipman and Gracen Trickey; a sister-in-law, Bernice Lukow of Gordonville; and a brother-in-law, David Lukow of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Otis Watson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
