DELLA J. ZIMMERMAN

MATTHEWS -- Funeral service for Miss Della Josephine Zimmerman of Matthews will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Charles E. Buck will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-6 p.m. today, with a service at 5:30 by Sikeston Order of Eastern Star Chapter 137.

Miss Zimmerman, 88 years old, died Friday, Dec. 28, 1990, at Sells Rest Home here.

She was born April 20, 1902, at Advance, daughter of Leeander and Ann Elizabeth Looney Zimmerman. She taught school 42 years, retiring in 1967 from Maryland Heights Junior High School.

Miss Zimmerman was a member of First United Methodist Church at Sikeston and its United Methodist Women, White Shrine in Cape Girardeau, Retired Teachers Association of Missouri, 50-year member of OES Chapter 137, and was a past worthy matron of Advance OES Chapter.

Survivors include eight nieces, eight nephews, and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
