MARBLE HILL -- Della A. Masters, 81, of rural Marble Hill died Saturday, Oct. 5, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 19, 1909, in the Mayfield community of Bollinger County, the daughter of Amaziah and Dicy Fulton Cook.

On Nov. 2, 1932, she married Elmer E. Masters, who preceded her in death April 28, 1987.

She was a member of the Little Whitewater Baptist Church and a life-long resident of the area.

Survivors include two daughters, Bonagene Devenport of Marble Hill and Wilma Hueter of Festus; three brothers, Loy, Huey, and Carroll Cook, all of Sedgewickville; four sisters, Ima Douglas of Ballwin, Beatrice Green of Patton, Ina Rhodes of Sedgewickville, and Ailene Loos of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and a grandchild.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Little Whitewater Baptist Church. The Rev. Dan Upchurch and the Rev. Don Estes will officiate, and burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery near Scopus.
