BLOOMFIELD -- Delbert Perry, 66, of Bloomfield, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 1992, at the VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Aug. 17, 1925, at Avert, son of Walter and Viola Pruitt Perry. He married Lois Eaker Dec. 27, 1947.
Perry was a farmer, and member of Bloomfield American Legion Post 382 and Bloomfield VFW Post 11042. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Perry of Miami Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Karen Kyle of Dexter; a brother, Gene Perry of Bloomfield; three sisters, Ruthie Carter and Imogene Laughlin of St. Louis, Judy Giambelluca of Poplar Bluff, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Harold Christian will officiate, with burial in Walker Cemetery near here. Military rites will be conducted by the U.S. Army.
