Deborah Friese

Deborah Jean Friese, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, May 16, 2024, at her home.

She was born Oct. 9, 1951, in Cape Girardeau to Carlston Eugene and Ella Marie Bucher Friese.

She was a secretary at the Carpenter’s Union.

Survivors include her sister, Tina (Norman) Magill of Poplar Bluff; two nephews, Justin (fiancee, Brittney) Magill and Joshua (Amanda) Magill, both of Poplar Bluff; a great-nephew, Mason Magill of Poplar Bluff; and two great-nieces, Ella Magill and Isabelle Magill, both of Poplar Bluff.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 24, at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to Missouri Veterans Home, 2400 Veterans Memorial Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
