Deborah Ann Pender Burton, 55, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Dec. 4, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Robert Harrison and Anna Marie Graham Pender. She and Bryan Earl Burton were married May 8, 1992, in Cape Girardeau.
Deborah was a member of the Central High School class of 1973. She was a record keeper for the Cape Girardeau Police Department from 1973 to 1985. She was a housekeeper at Drury Lodge and Super 8 Motel.
Survivors include her ex-husband, Bryan Earl Burton of Cape Girardeau; a son, Robert Blake Burton of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Gary Bruce (Brenda) Pender of Jackson; a sister, Brenda Kay (David) Rose of Marble Hill, Mo.; stepfather, Leo A. Pender of Fort Myers, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Advance, Mo.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to be used toward funeral expenses.
