Debora Sue Rohde, 64, of Friedheim passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at her home.

She was born Jan. 15, 1960, in Paducah, Kentucky, to Gary and Dorothy Vandergriff Miller. She and Jim Rohde were married June 8, 1991.

Debora was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim. She worked 35 years at Do It Best, retiring in March of 2023. She loved spending time with her family, shopping trips, cherished time at the beach and spending time with her granddaughter, Jayden.

Loving survivors include her husband of nearly 33 years, Jim Rohde of Friedheim; two sons Lucas (Casey) Rohde of Biehle and Lance (Emma) Rohde of Oak Ridge; a granddaughter, Jayden Rohde of Biehle; a sister, Carla (James) Hedrick of Cape Girardeau; a brother Gary (Michelle) Miller of Poplar Bluff; a sister-in-law, Lisa (late Greg) Miller of Jackson; Jim’s parents, Cletus and Mary Rohde; Jim’s siblings, Marlene Rohde and Mike (Linda) Rohde, all of Friedheim; and numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Greg Miller.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Mercy Southeast Cancer Center for their compassionate, professional care during Debora’s illness.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday April 2, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, and from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday, April 3, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim.

The Rev. Paul Hoemann will conduct the funeral service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, at the church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

If considering a memorial contribution, the family suggests Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim.
