EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral for Debbie Ann Lofton of Immokalee, Fla., will be held at 1 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Pastor George White will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Lofton, 44, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at S.W. Regional Medical Center in Fort Myers, Fla.
She was born April 29, 1954, in East Prairie, daughter of Billy T. and Wanda Dockery Watson.
Lofton had lived in Immokalee 13 years and was assistant manager at Handy Food Store.
Survivors include four sons, Larry Lofton Jr., Billy and Adam Lofton of Sikeston, Rudy Lofton of Immokalee; five daughters, Candie Burton, Stacie Barborek and Jamie Lofton of Sikeston, Ronda Lofton of Immokalee, and Debrah Tidwell of Beulahville, N.C.
Also surviving is her father of East Prairie; her mother, Wanda Hall of Immokalee; three brothers, Billy and Lowell Watson of East Prairie, Ronald Watson of Scott City; a friend, Jessie Torres of Immokalee; and nine grandchildren.
