DEXTER -- Dean Weaver Hickman, 79, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997, at her home in Poplar Bluff.
She was born Feb. 28, 1918, at Idalia, the daughter of Simon and Mila Hale Weaver. She married Herman Dudley Hickman on Nov. 5, 1939. He died Jan. 22, 1969.
She was a former resident of Bloomfield and spent several years in California. She had been a resident of Poplar Bluff for the past 28 years.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include three sisters, Virginia Aggeler of Versailles, Virgie Palmer of Poplar Bluff and Lillian Schultz of Alton; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral in Dexter today after 9 a.m.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. today, with the Rev. R.T. Medley officiating.
Burial will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
