DAVIS WINTERS

SIKESTON -- Davis Winters, 53, of Sikeston died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997, at his home.

He was born May 1, 1944, in Sikeston, son of Charlie Lee and Mamie B. Buchanan Winters. He and Donna Reid were married July 24, 1981.

Winters operated the MFA Bulk Plant in Kewanee 25 years, and currently was general manager of Rain Air Co. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Columbia, and attended Trinity Baptist Church in Sikeston.

Survivors include his wife; three sisters, Helen York and Elizabeth Parker of Sikeston, and Mary McCarson of Gorman, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Tom Geers and Bruce Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery at Matthews.
