BLOOMFIELD, Mo. Doris Acord, 53, of Bloomfield, Mo., died Wednesday, May 19, 1993, at her home.
She was born Jan. 13, 1940, at Gray Ridge, Mo., daughter of Jesse Moore and Ruby Sherwood Baker.
She was married to David Accord, April 16, 1963.
She spent most of her life in Bloomfield, Mo. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans at Dexter, the Bloomfield Amvets and the VFW at Bloomfield and the Order of the Eagles #4062 at Dexter.
Survivors include her husband of Bloomfield; her father of Morehouse, Mo.; her mother of Bloomfield; two sons, David Acord Jr. of Bloomfield, Carl Thomas Jackson of Baytown, Texas; a daughter, Tammy Turner of Festus, Mo.; two brothers, Russell Davis of Gray Ridge, Mo., J.C. Moore of Topeka, Kan.; three sisters, Louise Tarrance of Van Buren, Mo., Rosalyn Coffee of St. Louis, Joyce Barney of St. Ann; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Dale Hendrix officiating.
Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
