DAVID ROBERTS

SIKESTON -- David Roberts, 53, of Sikeston died Sunday, June 15, 1997, in the Emergency Room of Columbia Pinelake Regional Hospital in Mayfield, Ky. He was injured in a motorcycle accident near Mayfield.

He was born June 29, 1943, in Winfield, Ala., son of Leelon and Irene Stockton Roberts. He and Phyllis Knight Ditto were married Aug. 1, 1986, in Jackson.

Roberts was tool room foreman at NLC (Lenco) Inc. in Jackson, and member of Honda Goldwing Roadriders Motorcycle Club. He was a 1962 graduate of Matthews High School.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark Roberts of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two daughters, Karla Householder and Cheri Roberts of Sikeston; a stepson, Bucky Ditto of Bement; two brothers, Paul Roberts of Dexter, J.B. Roberts of Coffeyville, Kan.; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ed Dunivan officiating. Burial will be in a local cemetery.
