PARK HILLS, Mo. -- David Levi Pruitt, 54, of Park Hills died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, in Farmington, Mo. He was born May 11, 1946, at Sikeston, Mo., son of Elvin and Grace Williams Pruitt. PARK HILLS, Mo. -- David Levi Pruitt, 54, of Park Hills died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, in Farmington, Mo.

He was born May 11, 1946, at Sikeston, Mo., son of Elvin and Grace Williams Pruitt.

Pruitt was a truck driver with Hart Transportation Co. in Dexter, Mo. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 319 in Sikeston. He moved to Park Hills five years ago from Morley, Mo.

He had been in the U.S. Naval Reserve.

Survivors include two sons, Davey and Ronnie Pruitt of Sikeston; a daughter, Kerrie Swain of Chaffee; his mother, Grace Horrell of Sikeston; a brother, Charles Pruitt of Chaffee, Mo.; two sisters, Frances Schmidt of Hillsboro, Mo., Betty Carrnell of Dolphin, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee from 5-8 p.m. today.

A private service will be held tonight at the chapel, with the Rev. Joe Payne officiating. Entombment will be in Cape Girardeau County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
