HERRIN, Ill. -- David W. Proctor, 42, of Belleville, Ill., formerly of Herrin, passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at his home. David was born Dec. 31, 1966, in Kansas City, Mo., to Joe E. and Joanna M. Ward Proctor. Survivors include his parents; a son, Nicholas Ray Proctor of Belleville; a brother, Daniel Proctor and family of Denton, Texas; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins...

HERRIN, Ill. -- David W. Proctor, 42, of Belleville, Ill., formerly of Herrin, passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at his home.

David was born Dec. 31, 1966, in Kansas City, Mo., to Joe E. and Joanna M. Ward Proctor.

Survivors include his parents; a son, Nicholas Ray Proctor of Belleville; a brother, Daniel Proctor and family of Denton, Texas; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service was held Saturday at First Baptist Church in Herrin. The Rev. Don Grammer officiated. A graveside committal service was held Saturday at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial donations are suggested to Herrin First Baptist Church and will be accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home, 201 S. 13th St., Herrin, IL 62948.
