David Neiswonger, 55, of Princeton, Ky., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Caldwell County Hospital following a brief illness.

He was born Dec. 15, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, son of Woodrow and Alice Colyer Neiswonger.

He was a graduate of Christian County High School.

Neiswonger was a light equipment operator 30 years with Kentucky Department of Transportation. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Hopkinsville, Ky.

Survivors include his mother, Alice Morse of Princeton; a brother, Gary Neiswonger of Thornton, Colo.; and two sisters, Saundra Crombie of Spokane, Wash., and Carol Milliken of New Castle, Del.

He was preceded in death by his father, stepfather and a stepbrother.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. James Redmann officiating.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
