David F. Mobley, 78, of Randles died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
David was born Dec. 11, 1932, in Randles to the late Grover Cleveland and Ida Annabelle Davis Mobley. He married Shirley Moore on Oct. 22, 1951.
He was a retired railroad brakeman and conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad in Scott City.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Terry (Barb) Mobley of Jefferson City, Mo., and Lonnie Mobley of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Co-Ann (Johnny) Below of Whitewater and Punky (Bill) Masters of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Lora Smith of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, nine sisters and one great-grandson.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Huffman officiating.
Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery in Perkins, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Randles General Baptist Church.
