PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- David Harold Marr, 76, of Perryville died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at his home. He was born July 6, 1924, at Caledonia, Mo., son of John Jay and Stella Mae Cluff Marr. PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- David Harold Marr, 76, of Perryville died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at his home.

He was born July 6, 1924, at Caledonia, Mo., son of John Jay and Stella Mae Cluff Marr. He first married Laverne Schremp Oct. 17, 1942, at Belgique, Mo. She preceded him in death. He and Anna Elizabeth Cohea were married Aug. 12, 1968, in Washington, Mo.

Marr was a maintenance foreman 17 years at Missouri Baptist Home. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church at New Bloomfield, Mo.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Edith Vernon of Festus, Mo., Geraldine Buchheit of Perryville; a son, Larry Marr of Perryville; three stepsons, Terry and Michael Berkbigler of Lake Ozark, Mo., Steven Berkbigler of Park Hills, Mo.; and a stepdaughter, Debbie Allen of Tebbetts, Mo.

Also surviving is a brother, the Rev. Joseph Marr of Calipatria, Calif.; three sisters, Gladys McGuire of Irondale, Mo., Maudie Moss of Slater, Mo., Mable Clark of Piedmont, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters.

Friends may call at Debo Funeral Chapel in Holts Summit, Mo., from 6-8 p.m. today.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Debo Chapel.

Friends may also call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, and Friday after 6:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Revs. Pete Ruble and Jack Ruble will officiate. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
