David Leon Littleton, 54, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at his home, after battling a long illness.
Born Aug. 16, 1966, in Cape Girardeau, David was the eighth of 10 children born to Robert and Nancy Kent Littleton.
He was a 1984 graduate of Jackson High School and worked 15 years for Cape Girardeau city cemeteries.
David enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing horseshoes and loved all God's creatures.
Loving survivors include siblings, Joseph and Jimmy Littleton and Cheryl Smith of Cape Girardeau, Becky (Stephen) Puchbauer of Perryville, Missouri, and Rhonda (Richard) Sauerbrunn of Jackson; sister-in-law, Gene (the late Tim) Littleton of Oak Ridge; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; adult siblings, Pam, Tim and Roger Littleton; and an infant brother, Richard Littleton.
A memorial visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Oak Ridge.

Cremation was accorded by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
