COBDEN, Ill. -- David D. "Bub" Heater, 49, of Cobden, formerly of Jonesboro, Ill., died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, at his home.

He was born March 27, 1955, at Wood River, Ill., son of William and Elta Mitchusson Heater.

Heater was a mechanic and a member of Laborors Local 773 of Marion, Ill.

Survivors include his mother of Alton, Ill.; a daughter, Jessica Heater of Jonesboro; two brothers, Joe Gentry of Alto, Ronnie Heater of Hawaii; two sisters, Judy Barton and Debbie, both of Alton.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and a son.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Kelley Cemetery at Cobden.
