David Friga

CHAFFEE, Mo. — David Friga, son of the late Alfred Mike and Rita Mae Bollinger Friga, was born Aug. 31, 1956, in Cape Girardeau and departed his life Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at his home in Chaffee.

He was of the Catholic faith. He was the owner and operator of David K. Friga Construction and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include three sons, Travis (Sherry) Friga, Justin (Ashley) Friga and Dustin (Sherri) Recar, all of Chaffee; two daughters, Kristy (Nate) Miller of Benton, Missouri, and Kim Scott of Florida; brother, Robert Friga of Mississippi; sister, Laura (David) Westrich of Chaffee; and 16 grandchildren.

Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Friga, and two brothers, Paul and Mark Friga.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri.

Funeral will be at noon Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Casey Elmore officiating. Interment will follow in Friends Cemetery at Oran.
