CHARLESTON -- David Christopher Adams, 18, of Charleston Route 3, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 1995, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident at Highway 60 and 61 at EE Road.
He was born Aug. 12, 1977, at Granite City, Ill., son of David Adams of Dover, Tenn., and Paula Black of Charleston.
He lived most of his life in Mississippi County where he was a senior at Charleston High School and was employed with Pizza Hut as a cook. He was a Baptist.
On May 20, 1995, he married Brandy Smith, who survives.
He is also survived by two sons, David Michael Adams and Corey Lee Adams, both of Charleston; a brother, Matthew Stratton; his step-mother, Robie Griffin Adams of Dover; two stepsisters, Tandy Stafford and Tonya Bryant, both of Dover; his paternal grandfather, Floyd Adams of Dover; and his maternal grandfather, James Randy Black of Granite City.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Delbert Bishop of Oran officiating.
Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
