SIKESTON, Mo. -- David Lee Campbell, 51, of Gravois Mills, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, at his home.
He was born May 6, 1953, in Stoddard County, Mo., son of Virgil and Christine Branum Campbell. He and Diana Richards were married Feb. 28, 1986, in Benton, Mo.
Campbell had been an auto mechanic and also worked for Danny Lambert Construction. He was formerly of Sikeston.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Linda Lee of Pell City, Ala.; his father of Fairdealing, Mo.; his mother of Gravois Mills; a brother, Virgil Campbell Jr. of Belleville, Ill.; seven sisters, Juanita Haynes of Sikeston, Barbara Goforth and Sharon Campbell of Gravois Mills, Janice Mace of Dexter, Mo., Shirley Suggs of Cahokia, Ill., Janet Young of Tulsa, Okla., Ann Costin of Nashville, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Curtis True officiating. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery.
